Questions families ask

Is ARC a ski academy?

No. ARC is a club race team: athletes attend their own school and train with ARC in the afternoons and on planned race days. For U8–U14+ that gives academy-level coaching volume, a 6:1 ratio and daily video and data, without moving away from home or paying academy tuition.

How much does a ski academy cost compared with ARC?

The leading U.S. ski academies publish tuition of roughly $60,000 to $80,000 a year, which includes academics and, for boarding students, room and board. ARC’s highest tier, Mastery, is $14,000 for 2026/27; athletes attend their own school, and Park City public and charter schools are tuition-free.

Which schools work with ARC’s schedule?

ARC athletes attend Park City public schools (Jeremy Ranch, Parley’s Park, Trailside, Ecker Hill), Weilenmann School of Discovery’s PEAK program, Park City Day School, Alpha School, Winter Sports School, and Rowland Hall and Waterford in Salt Lake City, with an ARC shuttle to afternoon training.

When does an academy make sense?

Usually at U16 and FIS age, when athletes train and race full time. Many academy athletes come up through a club program first. ARC is built to be that program through U14, with a U16 program planned for 2027/28, and Park City’s Winter Sports School offers an April-to-November academic year for older athletes.
