What is Protern Live?
Protern is the GPS sensor your athlete wears in a bib, linked to the video we film in training. The new Live sensor has a built-in cellular modem, so run data streams to the cloud as your athlete skis.
- Speed, time and line data are ready within 2–3 seconds of the finish.
- Phone-filmed runs arrive with the data overlaid and are shared before the athlete reaches the lift.
- Every run, video and data set is saved to the athlete’s account all season. No syncing at night.
- Battery lasts a full training day (10+ hours) while streaming.

Your options
- New Protern Live sensor: $579. Live sensor, Live bib and Season Pass (Nov 1 – Apr 30). ARC covers the cellular data and video storage. Limited stock, first come, first served.
- Use an Original sensor: $200 Season Pass. Your own sensor, or one bought from a teammate who is upgrading. We need the serial number from the back of the sensor, and your $200 activates it under the ARC team account.
- One of ARC’s used Original sensors: limited, so select that option and Chris will contact you about availability.
- Opt out: no sensor this season. Your athlete is still filmed and coached on video as usual.
Please don’t buy a sensor directly from Protern. Sensors bought on your own won’t link to ARC’s team network plan or video storage, and the cellular data won’t be covered.
After you submit, you’ll go straight to the secure ARC payment page for your option. Card payments include a 3% processing fee; ACH bank transfer has no fee.
